Well I never dreamt that it would happen to me, but it did.

I've been hacked.

My faithful email, that well-worn sweetly_quiet@hotmail.com, has been taken from me by some bastard, and my heart is broken. Having my email taken from me is even harder to bear than having my neopet account taken from me, and having lost both, diaryland is my only reason for coming online at all.

My guild members don't understand why I'm so attached to my 'sweetlyquiet' account name. It's just a name, isn't it? And money can be re-earned, pets can be re-trained, medicine can be re-bought. But see, there are a few things that tip the balance:

1) The banner titled "Big Brother: Buffy Style, written by sweetlyquiet"

2) The medical insurance, "this service is brought to you by mewrayamew and sweetlyquiet"

3) Biggest donation ever made: "2 million np from sweetlyquiet"

4) President of the Bizzzzare Fan Girls: sweetlyquiet

5) 4th on the guild council: sweetlyquiet

6) "Poem written by sweetlyquiet"

It's getting too hard to write on. I'm praying that the support@neopets.com will restore my account to me. It's foolish, of course, to set my affections on such 'unreliable' things, but that guild really made me feel like I was worth something. And if I have to start again in another account and rebuild that reputation with another name, it's just hard. "sweetlyquiet" just seems so timeless... oh boo, I'm just going to go for dinner and be reasonable.
