"I don't know. I just can't think straight right now. There's so much to do."

"I'm burning out... I've been studying and studying and I'm burning out."
"Can't you go out with your friends?"
"I don't have real friends here."
"Honey..."
"I don't. And anyway I don't have enough time. There's so much work to do and always not enough time."
"I don't understand, I thought you said 10 weeks is too long."
"The thing is I'm not just a student, I'm an overseas student. On one hand I've got my studies and on the other hand I miss home... It's like here, every hour passes by too fast, but the days take forever to get through."
"Maybe you should just come home. Transfer credits."
"I wish I could, but your brothers will laugh at me. And I'll be happy that I'm home, but I'll be unhappy because of all the great research I'll be missing out on. I can't win..."
"Just bear with it honey..."
"I just wish I could go home every day. It would be so much easier to deal with everything if I could just go home every day."
"I wish I could tell you that I'm moving there and getting a house there."
"Me too."
"We'll have to talk to your dad."
"He'd have to pay for two households, right? I can't do that to him. I can't do that to you either... Being selfish is so hard when you have a conscience."
"I wish I could hug you right now."

The longest hallway in the world stretches end from end, but I'll never see their faces, and I'll never know the graces they've left behind, all I have are words and dreams, all I hear are drums and screams, and I've never been more lonely than the way I am tonight.
