Everything's going well. I should be happy.

Content. Be glad for the fruit the Lord blessed me with now rather than look for the fruit that He blessed me with yesterday. C.S. Lewis says it better of course but he is a very rambly man.

Alas, while it is an easy enough concept to grasp, it is difficult to put into action. One wishes for what one can't have and so what one does have turns sour before her eyes.

I have to be glad for everything He's blessed me with so far. New friends, old ones, hard work to enjoy, a hot shower every morning, food on the table, family, clothes, shelter, education... I am so blessed, so pampered, so loved.

I have to be glad.
